Welcome to TOSTADAS. The first Tostadas was opened on June 8th, 2019 by the brothers Alex and Victor Garcia. While they were both heavily influenced by their father who worked as a Chef in various restaurants around the bay. Their mother Maria who gave them their love for the food industry.

The brothers wanted to start up an affordable fine dining restaurant, but It wasn’t easy to come up with a style. The mentality from the beginning was something small, but it became it grew to be something much greater. The opportunity to open a large location came as a sudden surprise. They wrote a proposal and found that they were competing with six other restaurant concepts that wanted to open in that great space. Their landlord stated that she loved tostadas and loved the story of the two young brothers who wanted to start up their own business together. The Tostadas name came about from a prior business of their moms, where they were famous for Tostadas de Tinga and they decided to honor their mom’s legacy and bring back their childhood memories.
